2020 Softball Registration
We are excited to announce online registration for the Mustang Softball 2020 spring season is now open!
Mustang Softball is dedicated to providing the girls in our community with a softball program that teaches life skills such as, confidence, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship. We are proud to offer a wide range of teams at several ages. Our teams participate in South Central Pennsylvania Softball (formerly known as the York County Junior Girls Softball League). We our currently taking registration for the following age groups:
7U | 10U | 12U | 14U| 16U | 18U
2020 Registration Fees
7U: $60.00
10U and up: $130.00
Your registration fee includes a full uniform for your daughter (jersey, pants, socks & visor)
Practices will vary each week. This allows girls that are involved in other activities to participate in those activities and not have to always miss practice for the other activity that they are involved in.
Question: How many games do the girls play and how far away are they?
7U: 10 games (usually 5 home and 5 away….away games are all in York County)
10U minors: 10 games (usually 5 home and 5 away….away games are all in York County)
10U Majors: 12 games (usually 6 home and 6 away….away games are all in York County)
12U & up: 12 games (usually 6 home and 6 away….away games are all in York County)
Question: How many practices do they have a week
Normally girls will practice twice a week and once games start it will go to once a week plus games
Question: What days are games on?
Your coach will attend a schedule meeting in the middle of April and schedule all of your home and away games. Your coach will ask what works best for the girls on their team and do their best to schedule games when most players are available. Games can be scheduled every day of the week. Monday – Friday games will start at 6:30, Saturdays they can start at 9am and Sundays after 1pm.
Question: What equipment will my daughter need?
All girls will need to have their own gloves. Your coach will have an equipment bag with bats and batting helmets that can be shared with the team if your daughter does not have their own bat or batting helmet. We also highly recommend face masks for their play time in the field especially in the younger ages where their reflexes are not as fast.
